Why am I seeing ads for cheaper clinics?
That's a great question. There's got to be a reason though, right?
We see the same ads. And it made us curious. Why?

So we did some deep dives.
We found that a lot of them aren't being transparent with their prices, they aren't prescribing safe meds and / or their service is, as the reviews say, "junk."
We've documented some of our case studies as examples below.

Case study #1
I'M SEEING ADS FOR "CHEAPER PRICES" ON FACEBOOK​
Here is a classic Facebook ad that we see all of the time.
Mouth watering prices. GLP-1 for $69 / month locked in for life.
Sounds like a good deal right? Let's dive in.
But is it really $69 a month?
These patients are saying that they got charged $149 for month one and then $399 beyond that.
NOT the $69/ month advertised.
One patient called the the company "scammy."
Another said "I am still livid about htis lack of transparency and deceptive price tactics."
A patient was upset because their priced increased by 142%!
Here are just a few of the complaints we found.
THEY HAVE A 36% RECOMMENDATION RATE
Their Facebook page shows a very low rating.
That means for every 3 people who sign up with their service. About only 1 is happy with them.
BUT WAIT, THE REVIEWS ARE ACTUALLY WORSE THAN 36%!
This company is deleting negative reviews and banning anyone who posts negative reviews about them.
This mean their recommendation rate is actually worse than 36%
Take a look for yourself.
THE MEDICATION IS QUESTIONABLE
There is a patient who reported that when they received their medication, that it was brown.
When they asked the company about it, they got no response.
Another patient said that the medication was ineffective.
CAN'T GET A HOLD OF ANYONE!
To make things worse. If you have any issues, you can't get a hold of anyone.
One patient was unwantedly charged $140 and says there is "no way to contact anyone or even log in."
Another patient says "customer service is almost none existent, no way to actually talk to someone. SCAM!"
Prices that are too good to be true, usually are.

BAIT AND SWITCH PRICING
This clinic is probably the most common example patients give us for a clinic that is cheaper.
Their prices are certainly eye popping.
A quick google search shows a list of multiple Better Business Bureau complaints.
The first thing we noticed, was that the charges patients were complaining about, were all higher than what the company was advertising.
This patient said they that the plan they were charged was for $195.99 NOT the advertised $144 a month for ALL doses.
On top of that, they charged their card more times than what the patient agreed on!
The same clinic charged this patient $183.33 NOT $144 a month for ALL doses.
The finally got a refund, but only after reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.
They describe them as "blatantly dishonest and deceptive."
POOR TO NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

This same company is a large national company.
When you deal with larger, national companies you are either talking to employee #300, AI, or someone overseas.
This complaint says that the company is "primarily run by AI and it is impossible to reach someone." They later say "No wonder they are cheaper than other brands on the market." and "This place is a total scam."
When you talk to us, you're talking to someone in the clinic.
This patient says that not only do they not get responses to their questions.

But tha​t there "is none" when it comes to medical oversight.
That they can not speak to a real person. And that "'chats' are 100% AI responses, as are emails filled with word salad. Even phone calls are AI. I have yet to communicate with any human."
Case study #3
Since we kept seeing Facebook ads with cheaper prices. We looked at their profiles to see if we could find any red flags.
We found three common types of clinics.
The first type was that they had bad reviews.
Reviews as low as 56%, 42% and 34%.
We found almost fifty of these profiles before we stopped looking for them
Here's three of them.
The second type of clinic had minimal followers and no reviews at all.
Some only had 48 followers, 17 followers and one only had 3 followers!
They had zero reviews, and zero reputation.
When looking deeper into their profiles, you could tell that the they were just thrown up quickly looking to get a quick grab.
We also found about 50 of these clinics before we stopped looking.
The third type of clinic were clinics that looked legitimate but they turned off their reviews.
We have a suspicion on why.
One of the clinics we had been following for about 4 years used to have their reviews showing.
However their approval rating was only 75%.
They have since turned off their reviews.
The truth is, it's hard to find reputable, trustworthy clinics.
Most of the clinics we reviewed weren't being truthful about their prices, they had handfuls of bad reviews from patients, and some clinics even had poor reviews on the medication.
